The idea to found haartworks stems from my conviction that our working world will change dramatically in the years to come. For some time past, the market economy has been undergoing, as we all notice, significant changes, which will have a lasting impact on the world of work, and in some cases already have.

In order to ensure their competitiveness, companies must respond to these changes. Not only the globalization of world markets is noticeable in the human resource management, but also the demographic development in Germany has left its mark on the employment market.

The pool of qualified employees shrinks in the long run and is accompanied by a lack of leaders. Through increased competition, lean structures and changing production processes, companies need to be flexible in their actions and personnel policy, nowadays.

The known instruments for this are outsourcing, temporary employment, project work and, increasingly, the use of interim managers.
